Return to Monkey Island is an unexpected, thrilling return of series the series' creator Ron Gilbert that continues the legend of the classic adventure game The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge made in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

There's been some time since Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a war of words against his arch-nemesis, zombie pirate LeChuck. Guybrush's long-time love Elaine Marley has turned his attention away from government and Guybrush is now unfulfilled and adrift, not having found his way to the Secret of Monkey Island. The young, hip pirate leaders, led by Captain Madison, have removed the older guard. Melee Island is now in turmoil and Stan is a well-known businessman, has been sentenced to prison for "marketing-related offenses".

Meet with old friends and make new ones on the familiar islands now under a new and dangerous administration. Then, you'll head off to open oceans to find out what's new while trying to solve difficult problems. Amazing puzzles, mind-bending situations and devastating counter-attacks can be the only thing standing between Guybrush and the glory of his work.
